New York City's SoHo Grand Hotel (NY) is on the lower east side of New York, half an hour from La Guardia Airport, and 35 minutes from JFK Airport. Commissioned works by SoHo artists are displayed throughout the hotel's public spaces and guestrooms, and some are available for purchase. This 17-story hotel has 369 guestrooms decorated in stark hues of gray and coffee, and the rooms feature decor inspired by the Arts & Crafts Movement. Beds with chocolate-colored leather headboards are covered with Italian Frette linens and silk bedspreads. Bathrooms recall Old New York with subway-style ceramic wall tiles, grey and white hexagonal floor tiles, and pedestal sinks. Toiletries are by Blisslabs and Privé.
